Hi friends! My name is Sydney and I am the mind behind Bright Owl Writing & Editing. I am currently based in Northern Utah with my very supportive husband and two “helpful” cats.
I have always enjoyed writing. I started reading at a very young age and haven’t stopped since. I have a keen eye for detail and a passion for the English language which explains my propensity for editing.

My Background:
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Print Journalism from Utah State University. I have experience with copywriting and editing, technical writing, and ghostwriting. Through my career I have learned to take complex subjects and make them easy to understand. I’ve also gained experience writing SEO content and optimizing existing content. I am currently a freelance writer.
